Ask before you need to
The best time to find out what your gold is worth and what your options are is before the situation becomes urgent. Decisions taken in a rush, on the day a deadline lands, are the expensive ones.
Bring the jewellery in, or just the pledge receipt if it is with a lender. We will weigh it, test the purity in front of you, tell you what it is worth at today’s rate, and set out what you could do. Then you go home and think about it.
What we will actually tell you
The weight and the purity reading, so you know what you have. Today’s rate, and what that comes to. If the gold is pledged, what is outstanding and what would be left after clearing it. And a straight comparison between releasing and selling, releasing and renewing, or leaving things exactly as they are.
Sometimes the honest answer is the third one. A customer who was told that tends to come back when they do need help.
A rough idea over WhatsApp
Send clear photos of the pieces and an approximate weight and we will give you a range. Treat it as a range and nothing more — nobody can price gold properly from a photograph, and anyone who gives you a firm figure that way is guessing.

Is it really free?
Yes. Valuation costs us half an hour and no materials. Charging for it would be absurd.
Will you pressure me to sell?
No, and if anyone here does, tell the owner. A customer who leaves informed comes back later or sends family. That is worth more to us than one rushed transaction.
Can I get a figure over WhatsApp?
We can give you a rough idea from clear photos and an approximate weight, but no honest figure is possible without a scale and a purity test.
What if I just want to understand my options?
That is a perfectly good reason to come in. Plenty of people do, decide to do nothing for now, and are better off for having asked.
